Recovery Finder App Now Available on iTunes

Recovery finder is a free app that provides access to support and advice on addiction and related problems. Whether you are somebody looking to get help with your own recovery or for a friend or family member, you will find it locally through this app.

The app provides a directory that will provide results based on your current GPS location and category you select. From first line support such as clinics and specialist support groups, through rehab, counselling and therapy to holistic treatments. You will find all the possible support you could need on alcohol, drugs and mental health issues. If you wish to find support in an alternative location, you can search by postcode.

The Support Directory

The Support Directory is designed to help you find the help you need, in your area, including rehabilitation and other treatment services as well as counselling and recovery programmes. It is divided into areas by region and is fully searchable.

Simply choose the term you would like to search for (alcohol, cocaine etc.) then chose your region. Once you have chosen your region you will be given options for areas within that region. Chose the area you would like to search within and then click 'search'. Your results will be displayed below, giving you the information required to contact the service providers.

You also have the option to search for residential or non residential services, you can leave this as 'No Preference' to get both residential and non residential services.

The directory is being updated on a regular basis and we have currently competed entries covering the whole of England.

The Support Directory now covers England Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland.
