Inexcess producer Roger Appleton joins Brendan Georgeson at Walsingham House in the heart of Bristol, to discuss complexities of Dual Diagnosis.
Many people trapped in addiction have problems more than the substances they use; many suffer with mental illness/disorders as well. Brendan’s approach puts emphasis on treating the person and moving beyond diagnoses. As someone in recovery himself, Brendan has a great insight into the issues surrounding dual diagnosis, we are complex beings with complex problems, and one size does not fit all.
