George recently caught up with American singer songwriter Judy Collins. Judy had a long battle with alcoholism, using alcohol as a crutch to help her deal with the pressures of fame, but having been to a rehab centre, she has been sober since the late seventies.
Judy gives us a great insight into her past, how she worked hard, drank hard and how her problems where masked by her success, something which in its self became a problem when looking for help; ‘You cant have a problem, your so successful’.
We also get an exclusive live performance from Judy, filmed at BBC Radio Merseyside. Inexcess Television would like to pay a very special thank you to everyone at BBC Radio Merseyside, for their continued support and for generously providing Inexcess Television with the opportunity to meet with Judy Collins.
