Great Support and Advice

Posted by George Williams on Thursday, September 18th, 2008

I really enjoyed tonight’s show…we had two guests from SHARP Liverpool, a non-residential rehab centre on Rodney Street. The name stands for Self-Help Addiction Recovery Programme if you wondered and both Jacqui and Paul are graduates of the programme and great testimony to its success. SHARP is different to many rehab centres because those on the 48 day programme have to make an effort to get there in the morning and go back home to reality at the end of each day… they are not cocooned miles from their everyday life so they have to very soon put into practice what they’ve learnt each day. Jacqui and Paul have both got a great sense of humour and are full of constructive information and advice about the help that SHARP offers.

For all the facts on SHARP and lots more useful information, visit the Action on Addiction website, or call them on 08451 264 130
