Ed Mitchell headed north for Inexcess to visit the NHS South of Tyne and Weir Conference ‘One Year On’. One year ago saw the start of a £6 million programme Drink Less Live More. This was a campaign aimed at reducing the harm, problems and costs of excessive alcohol consumption.
Apart from speaking from personal experience at the conference Ed found time to speak to a number of delegates including Mark Watson, Head of Commissioning Services for Substance Misuse, Kim Davies, Research Director, Explain and David Wallace who works as a mentor at Turning Point.
