Ed Mitchell was invited to the Royal College of Medicine in Wimpole Street to listen to two of the leaders from the world of medicine and addiction.
Dr Mark Atkinson spoke about the need not to see medicine in isolation but to combine an understanding of science, mind, body and soul. Dr Robin Lawrence talked about the role of the brain in addiction and how an understanding of the workings of the brain can help us begin to understand more about addictive behaviour. This event was hosted by Crossroads Antigua and the Addiction Recovery Foundation.
