Healing and Meditation

Posted by Tony Mellor on Thursday, November 5th, 2009

Hi everyone.

In recovery we all know that there is a load of stick attached to the idea of ‘healing’ and ‘meditation’ because a lot of people think it’s not built on medical facts and the concepts that underpin it are too ‘flowery’. After last weeks show when Trevessa was talking about the power of alternative healing therapies, I started to look around the web to see if there was anything to back-up the things she was talking about. During my cyber search I found this lecture from the site ‘mindfulness’ which provides hard evidence about the topic and a great insight into how our mind works. Have a watch and let me know what you think; I would appreciate some feedback on it.

Also, I would love to hear some of your thoughts into what you think we could do better or you could even suggest some areas that you would like to be explored further. Send in your comments to Ed our editor at:

In the mean time, stay tuned, keep clicking and I will be updating my blog on a regular basis.
