Inexcess spoke to Mhairi Doyle, Frank Flood and others to find out what Jobcentre Plus can do for those people who are in need of help with drug and alcohol related issues. They were a very friendly and helpful team who do their very best (with much success) to help those people in addiction get back to work.
Among the project they deliver is Progress2work. Progress2work is a service for people who are recovering from misusing drugs. It can give you the extra support you need to get back into work. Progress2work can help you to: get back into training and work, and sort out problems like your housing, or debts you might have. You choose whether or not to use Progress2work. You don’t have to be claiming benefit to get this support.
