“Children whose fathers suffer from mental illnesses are much more likely to grow up to develop anxiety, depression and even addictions to drink and drugs, a new study warns.

Experts said that a father’s mental health was as crucial to a child’s development as a mother’s.

And sons might be more susceptible to suffering problems later in life than daughters, according to the review of the scientific evidence reported in the Lancet.”
