George talks to Larry Ashley of the University of Nevada about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the shocking statistics that accompany troops returning from active service. More troops have committed suicide on return from the Falklands War, than where killed in combat. The same can be seen in other conflicts, since the Vietnam War, over 58,000 returning troops have committed suicide. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a huge problem, and one that is already affecting troops from the Gulf Wars and Afghanistan and Larry Ashley tells us how there just isn’t enough help for returning troops.
