George catches up with Prof. Roger Weiss. The professor has developed a treatment for people with bi polar psychiatric disorder; people suffering with the disorder are seven times more likely to have a substance abuse problem than those who don’t have it. The professor believes that a similar recovery process for both issues is the key to successful treatment and recovery.
