Inexcess - the show so far

Posted by George Williams on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

Well it’s week 7. I think we’re capturing everything we set out to explore and achieve. I don’t think it’s what people really expected but it’s definitely live, real and raw. Packed with real people, with real lives, dealing with real issues. “Sometimes you just can’t make it on your own”. It makes me sensitive just saying that bit. Everything has started to gel, the crew, the posse and the guests have been amazing.

There have been plenty of challenges, mainly technical but we’re on the right side of it all and it was right to just get on with it as a pilot series. It’s an amazing adventure with so many high moments and a few head in my hands times too. Couldn’t have done it by myself and didn’t, there isn’t a thing that I don’t say or mean or probably live, a live guinea pig in cyber space with a strong sense of purpose. If you haven’t learnt anything so far then I’ll give you a great piece of advice, watch it all over again, there’s hours upon hours of it! Recovery should be all about fun, otherwise I’ll end up back in the wilderness myself. See you live at 9 everyone.
