Thought for the day

Posted by George Williams on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

Understanding why is important but not everything. What we do each day is. My belief is that it’s hard earned recovering but the journey is amazing, tough at times but amazing. I challenge anyone to count on one hand the amount of people they know who are at one with themselves and really happy. In the old days I cried and prayed for just one day of peace in my mind. Being switched off from all the chaos, pain, shame and solitude. Just one day.

Nowadays I have so many more good days than bad and the bad are more than manageable. The golden rule in my book is “YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU CAN HANDLE” it’s a compliment and testament to your resources within. See you all tonight for the posse and plenty of questions and answers.
