Alastair Campbell

It is well worth catching a look at “cracking up” which is now on the bbc iplayer. It was an in depth and very personal account of Alastair Campbell’s breakdown in 1986. The lead up to it, his lifestyle, his behaviour and very much his memories. Alcohol, depression and a very over active mind. Life was inexcess for sure

I really liked this because it was so easy to connect with and when high profile people speak intimately like this, it gives everyone else permission to “open up” too
