Weekend show

Posted by George Williams on Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Hi everyone, the weekend is here already and week 3 is “in the can”. We were plagued by technical problems and just about got on air and after going live all our vt footage had to be dropped. So there was no covert operation at the supermarket when trevessa and I spent £50 each, her on healthy food and me on booze. We’ve split it in 2 parts and will show it next week. Earlier in the week the crew took to the streets of manchester to interview the public on image and body shape. Again we’ll drop it into next weeks show. Success though with “signposting” pointing our viewers in the right direction for help and support when pleasures become problems. Addictions, breaking habits and obsessive behaviour all require professional help, support groups and connecting with like minded people.

Thanks to everyone involved in this weeks shows and tonight we opened and closed with one of my old hugely talented friends, Keiran “the beatmaster” Bell. A sweet voice and a master on the keyboard.

I’m sorry we didn’t do the show everyone had worked so hard on for the weekend. But live, real and raw we put our show out and worked as a team and thats more than good enough for me. In search of recovery is an amazing journey and I can honestly say i’m really proud. Have a great weekend everyone.
