Members of Manchester Carers Group share their thoughts and experiences of caring and campaigning for those affected by addiction.

In a powerful and sometimes emotional interview a common themes emerges of poor attitudes towards the poor relations of caring; inadequate services and a lack of support for addicted family members and carers alike

A picture emerges of what it means to look after someone with an addiction or mental health problem, or both, where separate services fail to treat the whole person, and carers have to go to great lengths just to be heard.
